The University of Ottawa’s Forum on Water Law and Governance is pleased to take part in this event marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Canada.

The year 2022 marks 60 years of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Canada.

The University of Ottawa and the Embassy of Morocco in Canada wish to seize the opportunity to highlight the fundamental role of universities in the advancement and dissemination of knowledge through critical thinking, open enquiry and dialogue.

On this occasion, there will be a Scientific Day on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, with the objective to discuss issues common to both countries and find points of convergence for the future.

In the context of this scientific day, Professor Eric Champagne, Director of the Centre on Governance and Lauren Touchant, post-doctoral student of the Forum on Water Law and Governance, will participate in a roundtable discussion on water governance with researchers and students from Canada and Morocco.
